Is Zinedine Zidane the Worlds best player?

Zinedine Yazid Zidane is a French Native and is very famous in the Football professional. He was born in Marseilles in France but is born with Algerian heritage. He is said to be one of the greatest footballers in the history of the sport. His name is known all over the World in every country.

At the age of 38, Zinedine Zidane is now retired from professional football. His career started in his home country of France. He started playing Youth football for US Saint-Henri. He first played prefessional football in 1988 for Cannes then went on to play for Bordeaux, Juventus then finished his professional career at Spanish giants Real Madrid. The highlight of Zindanes career is thought to be during the FIFA World Cup 1998. The game and competition was won by France. The final was played in the Stade de France where Zindane scored 2 goals both by headers and was later known as the National hero.

Algeria and France both consider Zidane to be a citizen of their country but was ineligible to play for Algeria for un disclosed reasons. The reason the player states is that he had already played for France. His International career first started when he played for the French under 21′s. In 1994 he started for the first and his career lasted for 10 years. He scored 31 goals whilst playing for France, not bad for an attacking midfielder.

His last season with Real Madrid made him the highest paid player ever. As well as his footballing salary he also made a lot of money from endorsing products such as Adidas, Lego and Audi just to name a few.
